Women in business: diversity as a value
8 March is an important day to remember those who have fought for the rights of all women.
As our Mayor also mentioned in his speech on 26 February to mark the company’s 30th anniversary, we are happy to point out that the presence of women in GENESI ELETTRONICA staff is truly important.
Of the 48 people who come to work every day at our company, 29 are women and half of them are under 30 years old.
We are convinced that men and women are more successful together and that women’s talent, commitment and perseverance are an added value for our company. The ability to listen, mediation, accuracy and thoroughness are all characteristics that naturally belong more to the female gender and are in high demand in a production system defined as 4.0 in which physical strength is no longer a fundamental element. At the same time as increasing the number of female staff, we have tried to provide female workers, especially ‘Mothers of Families’, with adequate support in the form of benefits and working hours that make it possible to conciliate family and professional life.
We therefore want to celebrate this 8 March with the slogan “WOMEN IN BUSINESS: DIVERSITY AS A VALUE!”
On March 8, GENESI women gave their personal contribution to the creation of a painting in the company garden. Each of them, one at a time and kissed by the spring sun, painted a flower, a symbol of femininity according to their inspiration.
