International Day of Light
The International Day of Light is worldwide celebrated on 16th of May. Established by the UNESCO in honour of Theodore Maiman, American electronics engineer and physicist who, the 16th May 1960, developed the first laser, thereby contributing to the technological progress. On this day, the main objective is to raise awareness in society not only on the importance that light has but also on the greater scientific advancement that its application may bring.
Here in Genesi Elettronica, we celebrate the International Day of Light as per our commitment in providing customers with the best Led solutions and Lighting for machine vision.
Paramount for industrial processes, Genesi’s lighting solutions do present several advantages, such as:
- Light Spectrum Enhancement which determines a further improvement of visibility within industrial processes;
- Energy Efficiency up to 90%, with respect to a conventional lighting system. As a matter of fact, the continuous performance to which industrial automation system are subject to through the course of the day is so elevated that the introduction of Led systems may decrease the levels of energy consumption in the long run;
- Longevity and Durability of equipment materials, which are able to undergo not only extreme working conditions, such as vibrations, temperature variations or dust, but also ensure a reduction in maintenance costs;
- Instant On/Off controller for Led Lighting systems that enables an accurate product control;
- Compact design that makes the Led system compatible with any automation system, reducing simultaneously the level of interference which may arose with other equipment components.
The development of lighting applications is one of the keys for a better and more sustainable future!
